A couple more faves...

Just a few more of my favorite shots from the last few months.

2011 Photographer Faves!

Ok, these are just a handful (10 to be exact) of my favorite images from 2011.  Not sure what it is about them...maybe they best represent me or my style, or I have a fond memory from the session, or like the composition, or tried something new, or liked the setting...could be anything!  Don't be offended if you don't see yourself or your offspring; you're gorgeous, I promise!  And photogenic. ;-)  I am just my own worst critic and these are my go-to pics for some reason.  You might not even like them, but I do.  And I could've chosen 50 more, but I wanted to narrow it down.

Ideas for What to Wear - Fall 2011 Sessions

It's time for Fall sessions! Yay! This is my favorite time of the year to go shopping and put together outfits.  I love Fall colors!  Here is just one idea of how to create a cohesive look using Fall colors and patterns! :-)  (I found all of these clothing items at oldnavy.com).  Try to use colors that coordinate with each other and tones that go well together.  Avoid bright, bold patterns or patterns that clash.  Brown and pinks go well together.  Purples and grays.  Maroon and orange with a touch of yellow.  Turquoise and browns.  Army greens and tans, etc.  You get the idea.  Think of the color wheel and pick out complimentary colors :-)  Maybe pick one or two accessories that pop.  Layers and textures look great in photos, too.  Have fun.  Visit oldnavy.com or gap.com if you need ideas!

Reaching 1000 fans referral contest!

Here's how it works...I've got approx 900 fans right now.  I would like to try to reach 1000 soon.  So, I'm gonna have a contest and the prize I will be offering is a mini session for $30.  The winner will get 30 mins of shooting time and 5-10 of the best images on a  CD with a print release.  If you're interested in playing, simply refer friends to Rave Imagery.  To do this, make sure you put the @ sign in front of the word Rave Imagery (@Rave Imagery).  For example you could write "@Rave Imagery is having a contest that I'm trying ton win.  Please go "Like" her page and tell her I sent you..."   Make sure your referrals comment on the wall who sent them. Tuesday night (July 5th) at 9 p.m., I will count up who has the most referrals and whoever has the most will be the winner!  If you're interested in playing, simply refer people my way.  Please have fun and be nice.  AND DO NOT make up new pages to win (I will know if a page has no image and only 1 facebook friend, for example, that it's not a page that's been existing prior to the contest).  Any false entries will be disqualified.  Winner will be announced on the blog Tuesday night at 9 p.m.  You must have your session on the books by July 10th (that means contact me and set up a date) and the session must occur on/or before September 1, 2011.  The shoot can be for a maximum of 5 people.  Each additional person will be $5.  Now, go refer!  This contest/game is in no way endorsed by facebook.

The "S" family...too cute not to blog :)

I met up with the "S" family who recently moved away from the Winchester area but were in the area visiting and wanted to get some family portraits done (we miss them!).  We met at Glen Burnie....gorgeous location!  My fave so far, I think.  Here are just a few of the shots I've edited so far.
